Arriving by boat along the shore at night, our objective is to explore and collectively experience the magical phenomenon of bioluminescent plankton. Navigating the waters, witnessing the transformation into shades of blue, light blue, & even turquoise is an unparalleled oceanic adventure. While this natural phenomenon occurs in many places globally, on our island, it is a year-round spectacle.  

Choosing our boat tour over a kayak excursion provides the distinct advantage of covering more distances. We venture to multiple locations to observe concentrations of plankton, accessing areas that, owing to time constraints, may not be reachable with a kayak. This ensures a comprehensive and dynamic experience, maximizing the opportunities to witness the enchanting bioluminescent display.  And also, we offer the unique opportunity to swim with snorkel gear, allowing the plankton to brighten right before your eyes.

This extraordinary tour encompasses a series of attractions, including a brief stop to observe and capture the beauty of Tortuga Island, followed by a sea voyage a few miles into the ocean to witness a stunning sunset.

However, the main highlight of the tour is the bioluminescent phenomenon, accompanied by the anticipation of encountering dolphins swimming alongside the boat. The most mesmerizing aspect occurs when dolphins and schools of fish create movement in the sea, causing it to illuminate in shades of blue or turquoise. While the presence of dolphins is not guaranteed in this natural environment, many fish typically cooperate, approaching the shore to showcase how the sea current rinses the rocks on the seabed with the blue plankton.

This adventure consists of a combination of two different types of fishing. Firstly, we will engage in trolling to seek out Jacks and Mackerel. Additionally, we'll utilize live bait to target the impressive "Rooster Fish" that inhabit the shoreline. Following this, we will transition to bottom fishing with live bait and slow jigging, with the expectation of encountering Cubera Snapper, Groupers, and Sea Bass.
